My newly redecorated home has many of these features but I was simply following my strong intuition and while trends come and go, I live in a home that is perfectly ME. Soft teals, pinks and whites, all rooms rewallpapered, antiques mixed with traditional and modern, swapped out ugly x's backsplash with handcrafted teal mermaid tail backsplash that is heavenly with my swirled brown granite, almond wraparound cabinet, blush velvet stools/chairs w/ Anthro oversized sofa in big kitchen , jeweled trinkets tucked around for the children to fins, lace and velvet on shades and chairs, Mackenzie reindeer everywhere. Romantic, elegant and whimsical maximalist ME.
